The Morgridge/UW-Madison Metabolism Symposium – POSTPONED

This symposium will include presentations by members of the metabolism community, open discussion between attendees, a poster session, and a keynote speaker.
Dr. Zoltan Arany, Professor of Medicine, from Perelman School of Medicine at University of Pennsylvania will be our keynote speaker. Dr. Arany’s research laboratory studies cardiovascular metabolism, with a wide range of multidisciplinary projects focused on tissues including the heart, liver, and fat. Recent publications from his laboratory have provided new insights into of the metabolic fate of branched-chain amino acids in mice, new insights into the role of mTOR in innate immunity, and identified a key role for pyruvate kinase M2 in vascular integrity.
