The Morgridge Kids Science Council is a group 20 bright, curious children ages 8-12 that meet three times per year. A group of dedicated Saturday Science fans and Blue Sky Science participants made up the inaugural class.
The council has the opportunity to meet Morgridge Institute for Research scientists doing cutting-edge research in fields like virology, regenerative biology, and medical engineering. They provide feedback to the outreach team on which science topics they find most interesting. They also present a Saturday Science activity as a group each spring.
In future years, we will be inviting new young people to join in the council. If you would like to hear more about the opportunity, join our Spark e-newsletter mailing list or email your interest to KSC@morgridge.org.
