The NEOS Server is a free internet-based service for solving numerical optimization problems. A joint project with the Optimization Group at WID, the NEOS Server provides access to more than 60 state-of-the-art solvers, both commercial and open source, in more than a dozen categories. As an optimization support specialist, I provide technical support to users, helping them troubleshoot errors and providing guidance in modeling and solving optimization problems. I am also responsible for updating and maintaining the NEOS Guide website, which includes information about optimization and a collection of NEOS case studies that showcase practical aspects of optimization.
