As the Associate Director, Lab Operations, I manage non-scientific aspects of the Skala Lab. My expertise is in pre-award and post-award grants management, including submission preparation, financial management, and long-term planning. I am also responsible for the day-to-day logistics of the lab. In that role, I manage work across a number of areas, including: human resources, onboarding, and offboarding; biosafety, human subjects, and animal protocols; outreach and events; and orders and inventory management.
