I am a PhD candidate in the Skala lab working on applications of fluorescence lifetime imaging microscopy (FLIM). My projects include understanding how FLIM can be used to identify cell phenotypes and activation states of white blood cells and how this information can tell us about disease progression and severity in lung conditions like cystic fibrosis.
