I am an assistant professor in the Department of Life Sciences Communication at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. My research examines public opinion about science and scientists’ opinions about the public, focusing specifically on the role of strategic communication within the context of public engagement with science. My work in this context received support from the National Science Foundation, US Department of Agriculture, US Department of Energy, and The Kavli Foundation.
