Beginning Monday, May 4, the Morgridge Institute has launched a partnership with the Wisconsin State Journal called “Blue Sky Science,” which will feature weekly video Q&As from Discovery Outreach participants on cool science topics.
The videos will appear on both the Morgridge and Madison.com sites every Monday morning. It also is featured in the print version of the State Journal, on the page 2 “Ask Us” section.
The project can help advance outreach efforts in the Discovery building, but also provide visibility to campus experts who conduct public outreach.
Communications Specialist Courtni Kopietz is leading the project for Morgridge.
The questions are posed by visitors to events at the Discovery Building, such as Saturday Science, a monthly series that features interactive exploration stations centered around a particular topic. The Blue Sky Science team then sets out to find an expert to answer the questions.
