SWAMP wins ISE North America Project of the Year award

The Software Assurance Marketplace (SWAMP) was awarded the ISE® North America Project of the Year in the Academic/Public Sector Category. The SWAMP offers a high-performance computing platform that analyzes software for weaknesses with an array of open source and commercial software security testing tools. These services are offered at no cost to consumers, businesses and software developers thanks to a grant from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Science and Technology Directorate.

Sponsored by T.E.N., a technology and information security executive networking and relationship-marketing firm, these awards honor outstanding achievements in risk management, data asset protection, compliance, privacy and network security. Finalists are chosen from the United States and Canada.

“We were amazed by the accomplishments of our record 75 executive and project nominees,” said Marci McCarthy, CEO and president of T.E.N., in a press release. “These nominees have tackled many of security’s most difficult challenges in order to better protect their organizations and bring innovation to the industry.”
