This spring, build community and skills to become the mentor you want to be, now and in your future career. Enroll in this Research Mentor Learning Community to build research mentoring skills that support successful, inclusive, and enjoyable mentorship relationships.
Why should you join?
- Develop and practice strategies for communicating effectively and aligning expectations, while promoting mentees’ confidence and independence.
- Meet federal funding agencies’ expectations for evidence-based mentor training.
- Demonstrate your commitment to effective and inclusive mentoring to your mentees and to future employers.
This course will be facilitated by Ellen Dobson, PhD, GCDF (Postdoctoral & Graduate Program Manager, Morgridge Institute for Research) and Jules Whitaker, PhD (Research Mentor Training Specialist, Delta Program, UW-Madison). The event will be two days from 9am-2pm each day.
