How do scientists know what they know? In an era of competition for attention filled with rapid discoveries, seemingly incredible claims and conflicting headlines, understanding the path from a lab theory to an established fact is more vital than ever.
Join Morgridge CEO Brad Schwartz, national leader in science policy Keith Yamamoto, and the Director of the Morgridge Institute’s Rowe Center for Virology, Paul Ahlquist, as they peel back the curtain on the scientific method. Together we explore:

Format and Structure
- Panelist Opening Comments: Each panelist will briefly discuss their framework and content, highlighting key insights and perspectives.
- Fireside Chat: An interactive discussion where panelists will engage with each other’s ideas and perspectives.
- Audience Engagement: Preloaded questions from guests, selected and filtered from their RSVPs, will be addressed, followed by a session of live audience questions to promote an open dialogue.
- Reception: Following the lecture, in-person attendees are invited to a reception for further discussion and light hors d’oeuvres.
