Postdoctoral Fellow

We are currently recruiting postdoctoral fellows. Candidates should have a doctoral degree in biochemistry, cell and molecular biology, chemistry, biological and chemical engineering, or related field. Expertise in one or more of the following areas is highly desirable but not required: metabolomics, proteomics or lipidomics, metabolic network analysis, RNA-seq analysis, cell biology studies and CRISPR.

Ideal candidates must be highly motivated and responsible, have ability to work well both independently and within a team, and possess strong written and verbal communication skills. Graduate Students

We currently welcome graduate students from the following programs: Cellular and Molecular Biology (CMB), Chemistry, Cellular and Molecular Pathology (CMP), Interdepartmental Graduate Program in Nutritional Sciences (IGPNS), and Molecular and Cellular Pharmacology (MCP). Students interested in rotation please contact Dr. Fan.


The earliest possible opening for undergraduate research is Spring 2019. Undergraduates interested in the lab please contact Dr. Fan and briefly state your research interest/ goal, relevant lab experience (if applicable), relevant course work and grades. Undergraduates in their sophomore or junior year are preferred.
