Youth Apprenticeships

Youth Apprenticeship provides first-hand experience for high school students to explore a chosen career path, and it provides employers with a chance to develop a workforce with essential skills necessary to succeed. Standards for Youth Apprenticeship in Wisconsin are established by the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development.

Morgridge is proud to be a youth apprentice employer, and we currently accept students from the Dane County Youth Apprenticeship Program in Biotechnology. In this program, high school juniors and seniors can apply for youth apprenticeship positions available in our research groups.

Alongside their paid work experience at Morgridge, students receive complimentary coursework at school, including additional hands-on training at the Biopharmaceutical Technology Center Institute.
