Morgridge researchers forge the path from curiosity to discovery across a broad range of fields. Our investigators work at the frontiers of metabolism, virology, and regenerative biology. They develop the transformational bioimaging and computing technologies needed to answer the biggest questions in biomedicine, including questions about cancer. And they seek to strengthen the bond between science and society through the study of bioethics and science communication.

As an independent research institute, we work in synergy with UW–Madison to maximize our impact.
